Terms of service

These terms set the ground rules for using PluginLabs, buying digital products and maintaining a fair marketplace. Mandatory consumer rights always remain in place.

Effective 30 July 2026
Plain-language commitment

These terms set the ground rules for using PluginLabs, buying digital products and maintaining a fair marketplace. Mandatory consumer rights always remain in place.

1. Agreement and supplier disclosure

By using PluginLabs you agree to these terms and the policies linked from them. If you use the platform for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation.

Current launch stage

PluginLabs is currently presenting its marketplace and preparing paid checkout. Before any paid checkout is activated, the applicable legal supplier name, legal status, registration or proprietor details, physical address for service, telephone contact and tax information will be displayed at checkout and on invoices.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be legally capable of entering a contract and provide accurate account information.
  • You are responsible for your credentials and activity under your account and must promptly report suspected misuse.
  • You may not create accounts through deception, impersonate another person or use the platform for unlawful activity.

3. Products, licences and creators

Products are licensed, not sold outright. Each product page and licence states permitted sites, users, updates, support period and restrictions. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse engineer where prohibited, remove ownership notices, share licence keys or use a product beyond its licence.

Some products may be made by independent creators. PluginLabs may facilitate discovery, licensing, payment and support while the identified creator remains responsible for its product commitments.

4. Orders, pricing and payment

  • Product descriptions, licence scope, currency, taxes, recurring charges and the total price will be shown before an order is placed.
  • You will have an opportunity to review and correct an order before final submission.
  • An order is accepted when payment is confirmed and we issue access or an order confirmation. We may decline or reverse orders affected by fraud, pricing errors, sanctions or technical mistakes.
  • Payment-card data will be handled by an approved payment provider over HTTPS when checkout launches.

5. Digital delivery and subscriptions

Digital products are delivered electronically to the purchasing account or email address. No physical goods are shipped. Delivery timing and requirements are described in our Digital delivery policy.

Where a subscription or renewal is offered, its billing interval, price, minimum duration, renewal date and cancellation method will be disclosed before purchase. Cancellation stops future renewal and does not normally reverse an already completed period, subject to our Refund policy and applicable law.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not attack, probe, overload or bypass platform security or rate limits.
  • Do not upload malware, infringing material, unlawful content or data you have no right to use.
  • Do not scrape or automate access in a way that harms the service or other users.
  • Do not use PluginLabs products to violate law, privacy, sanctions, intellectual-property rights or third-party terms.

7. Availability, updates and warranties

We work to keep the platform and supported products reliable, but maintenance, security events, internet failures and third-party services can cause interruption. Compatibility information is based on the versions stated on the product page.

Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, remedy or right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise, services are provided on a reasonable-efforts basis and implied terms are limited to the extent permitted by law.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. Any contractual cap will not apply where law prohibits it, including for fraud, wilful misconduct or rights that cannot be limited.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate security, fraud, non-payment, unlawful activity or a serious breach. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue. Licence and payment obligations that should survive termination remain effective.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by South African law. Contact support first so we can try to resolve a concern promptly. Nothing prevents a consumer from using the National Consumer Commission, a competent ombud, the Information Regulator or a court with jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We may update these terms for legal, security, product or operational reasons. Material changes will be communicated reasonably, and the effective date identifies the current version.
